Our Whirlwind Adventure

A few years ago, we began the immigration process believing that if we kept doing the next right thing, eventually we would reach the other side of it.

It has taken much longer and involved more setbacks than we ever expected. Our original fiancé visa was denied, so we adjusted our plans, got married in Pakistan, and started the process again as husband and wife.

For a while, spouse visa processing was paused, which created another unexpected delay. That pause has now been lifted, and we are thankful for that. There are still obstacles ahead, though, and we are still waiting for everything to come together.

 

So for now, we keep doing what we have done from the beginning: praying, completing each step in front of us, and trusting God with the timing.

​

Living across countries is not easy, but we are grateful for the people who continue to pray for us and encourage us along the way. We believe God is with us in the waiting, and we are hopeful for the day our family can finally be together in one place.
