Our Whirlwind Adventure
Sometimes the most beautiful stories are written through tears, faith, and a hope that refuses to let go. Ours is one of them.
Four years ago, we stepped into the immigration journey believing love, honesty, and perseverance would be enough. After a long season of waiting and paperwork, the fiancé visa we had poured our prayers and plans into was denied. We were told we could stop—or we could begin again.
So we chose love. Love does not give up. Love endures.
In the midst of leading a school and carrying family responsibilities, Jenna boarded a plane to Pakistan. What followed can only be described as grace upon grace. Doors opened. Obstacles softened. And in a place that once felt impossibly far away, we stood side-by-side—surrounded by family and friends—and became husband and wife. Marriage did not erase the distance, but it deepened our resolve.
We returned to the process with renewed hope, filing a new case, paying the fees (again), and trusting that what had been built on covenant and calling would stand. And now, once more, the ground has shifted beneath our feet. Spouse visas have been paused—placing our journey, yet again, into a season of waiting we did not choose.
This is the part of the story behind the smiles. The part where tears are near and love travels far across oceans. Where daily life is lived across time zones and through a screen. Where faith is not a slogan, but a lifeline.
And still—we move forward. We believe God is not absent in the waiting. We believe His promises are not delayed, only unfolding. And we believe this story, though unfinished, is being written with intention, redemption, and purpose far greater than we can see right now. Thank you for standing with us. For praying. For believing. For being part of this wild, beautiful, heart-wrenching, but still-becoming journey.
